Location & Overview

Greenville Township is one of Ohio’s 1,308 townships and ranks as the 47th largest in the state. Located in the heart of Darke County in southwest Ohio, the township surrounds the City of Greenville and borders eight neighboring townships.

Services & Infrastructure

Greenville Township provides essential services that support the safety, maintenance, and daily needs of residents across the township. These services include road maintenance and snow removal, emergency fire and EMS protection, cemetery care, and the ongoing upkeep of township infrastructure. Through responsible management and planning, the township works to ensure dependable services for residents today while preparing for the needs of future generations.

Township Leadership

Greenville Township is governed by a three-member Board of Trustees and a Fiscal Officer. Current Trustees are Justin Hines, Jeremy Edger, and Matt Feurer. The township’s Fiscal Officer is Katie Light.
